We've come across some new online tools that are free (or have free options) and are designed to help your group work more effectively together. We've been using some of them here at OC and know of others who are as well. Thought it would be good to share.

NING - http://www.ning.com/

Ning is an online service where you can create, customize, and share your own
Social Network for free in seconds. Sort of like MySpace, but easier. Here’s

VYEW - http://vyew.com

Vyew is a free online collaboration and web conferencing service that brings people
and content together. Vyew allows you to host live conferences and work collaboratively
on content over time, anytime.

Slideshare - http://www.slideshare.net/

Slideshare lets you upload your powerpoint or other presentations online so
you can share them with others. You can even embed them easily into your own

Dabbledb - http://www.dabbledb.com

Dabbled is an easy to use online database program. You can import data from
spreadsheets or databases — or just start from scratch. You can bring
in information from various angles etc. We're using it to keep track of workshops for our upcoming conference.
