Labor Notes Conference

As you may know Labor Notes (www.LaborNotes.Org) is an institution in the worker's movement that has contributed tremendously in the education and training of workers to fight for their rights by facilitating literature, manuals, workshops, and conferences for the last 4 decades.

Besides its monthly magazine, LN coordinates perhaps the largest international workers conference every two years where issues such as union democracy, immigration, outsourcing, organizing strategies, skills and techniques are discussed.

The next LN conference is scheduled for April 11-13, 2008 in Dearborn, Michigan.

Activists from a wide variety of unions, organizations, political affiliations, occupational fields, regions and countries are expected to attend by the thousands to strategize actions they can use in their workplace, unions, streets and or government halls.

Join the LaborNotes folks to help in the design of the conference in a way that the workshops and themes will address issues your organization or community faces. Please send me any primary contacts you feel should be kept informed of the planning developments and also can contribute with ideas or resources
